And the racing was good all year. Then they got some turbo back after stephanie stepped it up. Maybe that team is doesn't have anything else to prove. If only you had there attitude you could race the class you want. You know deep down what the nhra is trying to prevent. The whole thing about these hondas getting what they want is not going to but them in the 9.20's and they know it. So this doesn't make for a legitimate complaint. Oh but it the fact of the plate no passing. Ask them again maybe they'll just say no its the trans.

if they would have trapped over 167 again there would have been a molten peice of metal under the hood........

Why? Why can the motor not be made strong enough to handle that power? If you guys think you pick up 50hp from leaning an engine out past the safe limit, you're mistaken...

Now with upping the c/r of the motor wouldnt that make the powerband higher and not such a kick in the pants when the boost kicks in and spins the slicks which is what I assume happens with most cars making 800whp. The power goes from a sort of measily 200whp-750+ within 1500 rpms correct?

Yes, if everything is right. These motors don't see any kind of time compared to other forms of racing. If it's not detonating, and it's built strong enough, it'll last. If it makes it down the track 1 pass, then it should make it down the track the next pass as well as long as nothing changes. The fuel system needs to be right, the computer needs to be right, and the tune needs to be on par. What i think a lot of people are misunderstanding is that leaning a car out past the safe limit, does not result in a huge increase in power, and the same goes for ignition advance assuming you have enough octane (which we do).

Re: (Arturbo)
Well brian said Hotrod and the only gm in that class was Bothwell . The rest of them were in pro front. Maybe it made to much sense. For what its worth I think they should let them run it. But I 'm not in that class.
