12.499 in allmotor street CRX
Last night I won the street class at a National Dragracing Club Denmark (NDCD) event. My start got messed up but I still clocked the best time so far. I got a 1.9 60 ft but had 1.80's in the other passes. My CRX is around 2200 lbs with driver but I would like to get down to 1.6 60 ft's. The only things I can improve on the car are to install traction bars and hard engine mounts. I'm only running inserts in stock mounts right now. What else can I do to get time down and what time can I run with that speed (112.82 mph)?

Sick. I think w/ a low 1.7-high 1.6 60' you could get into the 11's. Nice MPH out of that NA setup as well. What is your WHP?

Hey Andy!
How can I get the 1.6 60 ft's? I launch around 8k but not with launch control since oil comes out of my breather kit when I use that. I had tons of grib at this track so I dunno what I did "wrong" since my 60 ft's and not lower. Maybe I should try and get a longer 1. gear. My tranny setup is a Y2 from my EE8 with a 4.73 FD and Quaife LSD. I finish around 9k i 4. gear so I think that perfect.

suspension straps for the front work wonders. also some stiff springs in the rear. hmmmm, you ran good times. Solid engine mounts is almost a must. I have a similar setup and i run consistant 8.0s with 1.75 60's at my local 1/8 howver i have yet to go back since my recent tune. I havnt run straps yet but this weekend i will. when i ran the straps before i was running 1.70's with 20in slicks. and about 186whp.

Lower the tire pressure more. What gear are you doing your burnouts in ? I was running 8 psi in my tires and could not get better then a 1.7 60 ft , I went lower and manage to get consistent 1.6 60 ft times , best so far has been a 1.60 and alot of 1.62 ft times. Good luck and awesome #'s !

I think better if you put tranny from Integra typeR JDM and gear set ATS 1,3,4,5 </TD></TR></TABLE>

I think my gearing i pretty damn good with the 4.73 FD.

Thanks for the advice. To bad this was the last event in Denmark. I did not try to lower the tire pressure from 8 psi but I will do that next year. I only did 1. gear burnouts because I was affraid that the traction bite would kill my axles when I got out of the water area with a 2. gear burnout. I know a 2. gear burnout could help me out to get more heat in the slicks but it will have to wait for the next event.
