10.92 @ 130 on a stock 200k mile ls/vtec
i have a 1993 hatch with a 200k mile b18a botttom end untouched it has a drop in block guard type r oil pump b16a head b16a cams a drag cast iron manifold hx35 turbo on 28psi 1000cc pte injectors aem water meth and 100ll fuel 70mm throttle body skunk2 intake all tuned on crome by me this car has been running for 4 years with this setup and has make hundreds of passes ranging from 10.9 to 11.3 and can still be street driven and get 30+ mpg my question is is this common or do ihave a freak of nature it also gets roll raced from 70 to 150 regularly

the pic at bottom was before i switch to cast iron manifold this was a cheap ebay ramhorn that fell apart

Im impressed with the setup man. Makes me want to do cheap LS setup and throw a ton of boost and get some slicks and see what it can do.

congrats man....great to see setups like this go fast....what do you rev it to. also what oil do you use and how often do you change since you are rocking a stock ls bottom end

I like to see this more common nowadays. I've been 10.7 @135 in a 2550lbs car back in 2003. Used to do all kinds of racing on the track and street and it lived till I started to get greedy. Lol
Now I have lots of customers with low 11 to high 10 sec with stock bottom end. From ls to b20 to 16. They all seem hold about 400-450 without issues. I have lately started pushing the stock motor limits once again and have a customer that's been 10.3@138 with a ls bottom end with over 180k miles. Mine own personal car has a stock motor in it right now and has been 10.4@136 weighing 2500lbs. These cars are over 500+ whp but are definite pushing the edge. My customer just recently bent a rod on his ls block.
Luckily it didn't break and put a hole in the block.
Now I have lots of customers with low 11 to high 10 sec with stock bottom end. From ls to b20 to 16. They all seem hold about 400-450 without issues. My car has been pushing 350whp for at least 7 months. It's been boosted for approx 18,000 miles.
Previous owner had the car boosted for quite some time too. Stock LS with ARP head studs. I wanna push it further lol.
Hoping for 11's in spring.
