Default Chemical Guys product reviews

I'll start this off by letting everyone know I have NO affiliation with this company, I just really like their products. All links are provided because the site is kinda difficult to navigate and some links are redundant. I am not trying to sell anything, just sharing my experiences.

After doing a LOT of research of products online, I settled on Chemical Guys because not only do they get excellent reviews, but they're VERY reasonably priced. I'm a detail freak and frequent a few overseas detailing forums (and Europeans do NOT **** around when it comes to detailing), so I learned a lot about what products to use, and how to use them.
I went all-out and purchased about $400 of supplies (not including a buffer either), and liked the fact that Chemical Guys offers a lot of their products in package deals (i.e. interior detail kit, exterior detail kit, etc).

Interior Car Care Kit:

16oz Lightning Fast -Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner (supposed to dilute with water for use in an extractor, but a few light sprays and scrubbing and stains come right out)
16oz Cleaner -Leather, Vinyl, Rubber and Interior Cleaner (works really well as a leather cleaner, i use it for my steering wheel and all my interior. I think Meguiars wipes are simpler, but it's nothing to complain about)
16oz Leather Conditioner & Protectant-Restore Clean Leather Look and Smell (stuff works wonders on leather. no gross smells, just clean leather smell)
16oz Streak Free Glass Cleaner – Ammonia Free and Amazing (all the ammonia free cleaners seem to be the same to me, but all that matters is this stuff is better than Windex)
16oz Odor & Bacteria Eliminator-Cleans Air Leaving a Fresh Green Apple Scent (this stuff's no joke - maybe three to five sprays on your carpet/mats/seats and your car smells awesome, and the odor is GONE, not covered)
2 - Fluffer Large 24” x 16” SO SO Plush Towel (Race Blue & Red) (I have a bunch of these, these work well with removing wax/sealer residue)
2 - Large Microfiber Detailing Sponges (I use these to apply the soft wax, sealant, and glazes)
5 - Long Life Premium Sprayers (bottles of liquid are always easier with spray heads )

SUPER SHINE IN A BOX Car-care-Kit:

16 oz Citrus Car Wash-Ultra Premium Citrus Wash & GlossAwesome car wash. Shake it up, use about two tablespoons worth, and this stuff suds' up like crazy. Really slick, and helps dirt shed right off the car when it's stuck in the foam and not next to the paint (helps cut down on micro scratches a LOT). Great stuff to use for the two bucket method.
16 oz Butter Wet Wax-Ultimate Wet Shine Wax - Goes on really easily, chalks up in a matter of minutes, and is really easy to buff off. This is a soft wax and it adds more "pop" to the paint.
16 oz Fade2Black Interior & Exterior Protectant and Shine (1 Can) - probably the coolest stuff I've ever used. I ran out and need to buy more, but it's great for black trims, especially engine bay rubbers, etc. It's not sticky or sticky and doesn't attract dirt like most stuff. A slightly satin finish if you spray and walk away, or you can buff after for a nice deep matte finish.
16 oz Silk Shine Spray Dressing-Premium Dry to Touch Dressing - This is currently my preferred product as a tire shine. Well, this and Adam's VRT. I spray this on an applicator pad (cheap ones from pepboys/kragen), wipe on my tires, and buff it out after 5-10 minutes. Nice satin finish, and it doesn't look greasy or fling the goop all over the car either like other stuff tends to do.
16 oz CG Speed Wipe Quick Detailer Streak Free (Anti Static) - hands down best quick detail spray I've used. Smells awesome too
16 oz Wet Mirror Finish- SUPER SLICK NON-STICK GLOSS MAGNIFIER - I haven't yet had a chance to use this all over my car, but it goes on and buffs off just like wax.
1-Microfiber Premium applicator - For the wax, yo!
2 -Fluffer Towels-24" x16" Ultra Plush Super Soft Micro fiber (new) BEST Microfiber I've used so far. I've yet to try a waffeweave, I can dry two cars with three of these towels.

Price: $68.00, FREE SHIPPING! Click here to check it out!

Shine & Protection Kit:

Jetseal109™-Protection Beyond Need, Shine Beyond Reason. - perfect for a base coat of protection. goes on like a liquid wax. let sit for 20 minutes, buff it out (again, easily done) and you've got really tough protection for 2-6 months. The bottle recommends two coats to ensure full coverage.
5050 Limited Series Concourse Paste Wax - excellent hard wax; I prefer to use this as a secondary protection, after the Jetseal109. This adds some depth to the paint and offers really good protection, comparable to other waxes that cost hundreds.
2 - Fluffer Towels-24" x16" Ultra Plush Super Soft Microfiber
2 - Duracfoam Applicators- Premium Paste Wax Applicator - easy to use and won't scratch paint, just try not to drop them because they'll hold dirt just like every other rag and applicator pad

Price: $78.84, FREE SHIPPING! Click here to check it out!
A similar kit can be found

HERE for ~$10 cheaper, that uses a different hard wax called Pete's 53'.

Detailing Bucket with Grit Guard Kit:

Heavy Duty 4 1/4 gallon Detail Bucket with (Gamma Seal) Spin-off top - leak proof bucket that also doubles as storage for all your products when not in use
Citrus Car Wash-Ultra Premium Citrus Wash & Gloss (16oz)
Grit Guard - great to scrub the mitt on every time you rinse the pad; you'll be surprised when you see the dirt and grime underneath it when you pour the water out afterwards.
1-Wash Pad-Scratch Free Wash Pad - Synthetic sheep skin, I think. Either way, this thing is SUPER soft and holds a ton of soapy water.
Price: $24.25.

Elite Microfiber Towels:

I added a 12-pack of these to my car when ordering, these things are great for all around finishing touches. Great for quick detail, or final buffing of wax or to get out those sneaky water spots or streaks. I keep most of them clean and use old spare microfibers from Costco to use for things like wheels and under the doors where it gets gross. The coolest thing about these is that one side is really plush, and the other side is more firm, for different needs.

Price: $34.95 Click here to check it out!
You can check out their HUGE assortment of MF towels HERE.

I have the bare bones too, i forgot to put it in here. I don't have fender liners, but I've used it on other cars and i really like how it works. I mainly use the fade2black for engine compartments like engine covers, intake arms, hoses, etc, and it's worked beautifully. I've also used it on exterior trim with the same results. Adam's has the In-N-Out spray too, which I think is the same stuff.
