wiring amp with no subs

wiring amp with no subs
hello, this is my first post in the audio section so be nice.
well my uncle wants me to get him a amp and wire it up to his speakers, he has a aftermarket head unit so there will probly be output thingys in the back. ive hooked up subs ni my car so im not completly retarded in audio but how much different is it to just hook them up to speakers?.
sry im not being very specific but any help would be appreciated, ask me and ill tell u if u need more info

It's more or less the same but if you bridged your amp for the sub you won't need to do that now. You will also have different crossover settings but you can do that by ear.

umm i think he wants 800 watts goin to 4 speakers, money isnt a issue really i just would like a quick explation of how to wire up the speakers.

Run all the wires (power, ground, remote, rca's) to the amp. I would get a 4 channel amp thats atleast 100 x 4 at 4 ohms, then just connect the speaker wires from the amp to the speakers...very easy!!
