Sounds like they were scoping your car or prepping your car so they could come back. I would check the hood cable to see if it was tampered with. Look at the driver side fender. Check to see if there is any damage. Your alarm is telling you that it went off. Seems like you gained some interest from your local thieves. Now its time to make sure that your security is up to par. Read the stick above. This will get you going in the right direction. Remember they know your car now.

Well now its time to step up your security and in a hurry. I would stay up tonite and watch your car. Most people do not get this second chance. Yes you can hit me up on aim. I be on for a sec.

Its time to start thinking about adding some layers to your security measures. As in remote fuel/ecu cutoff with hidden switch, a quick release steering wheel with hub lock, clutch lock. No one thing with stop a thieve but you can damn sure slow him down until you can get there, and hopefully with enough layers it wont be worth his time and effort. I would be pulling the ecu every night until you can get your security up to par. I actually just got back from radio shack, i picked up a few relays and switches to do my fuel/ecu cutoff, and seeing this made the hairs on my neck stand up. PM me if you have any questions. BTW, how did things go the rest of the night?

Well, I ended up talking to Des getting advice. Ended up driving around looking for them but didn't find anything. Went sleep at 6 in the morning. They ended up popping the hood from the fender and cutted my horn thinking it was my alarm.

I'm going to re-route my hood cable, but out of curiosity... could anyone still pop the hood if your car is lowered/slammed? Right now my tires are tuckin so I can't see how anyone could slide their hand/arm into my wheel well to pop my hood cable.

It can be very easily done, my tires are tucking in and they were still able to cut the cable and pop the hood. I was lucky though all they took was my system, they didnt attempt to take my car.

Think if it like this... at best, they wanted your car and saw that you had some sense of security on it and said f-it. on the other hand, at worst, they saw the security system on it, saw exactly how it is operating, and will be back later. Since when it comes to scumbags like this, im gonna have to go with the glass half empty and say youre a soon to be target. I would seriously try to find a friend with a garage for a few nights until you can get a few more layers of protection.

Actually it sounds like they weren't intimidated by the alarm at all. They went straight for it by disconnecting the battery and cutting the horn. Most cheap alarm installs use the factory horn instead of a separate siren.
You should go pick up a DEI 520T battery backup module and have it installed right away.
The hood can be popped easily by reaching up under the bumper. Besides re-routing the hood cable, you have to get some sheet metal and block off your hood latch. A hood pin switch, hidden interior siren, a 2-way paging remote, and battery backup module will go a long way.
Removing the ecu wont do any good. Nearly any Honda/Acura ECU of the same OBD generation can be swapped in to run the car. And EVERYONE has one these days.
We've stepped up security somewhat in the Honda community. Unfortunately, thieves in many areas have kept pace and found weaknesses in many of the security measures commonly recommended on the forums. Detachable steering wheels, standard alarm installs, club like devices, ecu removal, fuse removal, circuit disconnect, and standard fuel pump kills are all nothing more than a false sense of security anymore.

Which fuse should I take out? Well, I was planning to get a set up done by Des. Just need the money, got a job this week start working next Tuesday I think so yeah. Went to my friends uncle and got my hoodpin relocated because they ended up tampering it so it wouldn't work.
