Default Remove a tape deck and install a cd player

I am going to install a cd player in a Jeep. It is about a 1990 Hard top. so how would i go about installing it in there. I believe that i pretty much know how to do it, just rip the old tape deck out, remove the wires from it put them in the back of the new cd player and set it in. is that all i have to do or is there something else?
thanks

you'll have to rewire the new plug unless it's the exact same make and still uses the same plug (radio wise).
