pager wont disarm sometimes, beeps
viper alarm 791xv with 479 pager wont disarm sometimes or unlock doors. will give three consecutive coupled beeps (beepbeep, beepbeep, beepbeep) and the antenna alone flashes upon pressing the unlock button. i thought maybe it wasnt giving/getting signal. it then works if i smack it a couple times with my hand.
bad signal? bad pager?

Bad remote, probably a cold solder connection, but before you replace it or try and repair it, replace the batt. in the remote.

also try unplugging the antenna for a few minutes then plug it back up and try it. this will reset the circuit board in the antenna.
