Default installing a 2nd battery

i was wondering if someone could provide me with the procedure and tools/parts list involved in installing a 2nd battery. i just bought a Stinger battey for my civic, and was going to sinstall it under the hood, but then decided to install it in the truck to run just my system off of.

i have tried to find a tutorial online, but nothing i have found has been able to explain the task to me, in terms that i can understand to do it myself.

thanks in advance.

it won't do you any good. all your battery does is start your car and give accessories power if your car is parked. so all you'll get is more time to listen when your engine is off. otherwise you're just putting another stress on your alternator.

put the better battery in under the hood and upgrade your alternator.
