how do I program an old oem Honda remote?
on my '95 Integra I have what I believe to be a dealer installed alarm, made by Alpine. Now I haven't been able to find any information about the alarm or how to go about getting replacement remotes. I received two remotes, but I need a third one.
I randomly came upon a Honda branded remote that is almost identical to mine, but obiously isn't programmed to my alarm. So my question is, how do I program the new remote to work with my alarm?
here's a picture of hte two remotes so you know what I'm working with:
thanks

thanks</TD></TR></TABLE>No can do, the Alpine remote has a "ROM" chip in it, and the Honda one does not. Find the alarm brain, under dash, getthe model #, it will be 80xx, it may be the same as on the remote, except will be 84xx, once you have model # go to http://www.alpine.com, they should be able to tell you where to get a remote for the alarm, also you could try your local Alpine retailer 94
