So, I worked on this old school 'benz convertible today, while running wires, I took out the glove box for access, and behind the glovebox, there was an oldschool alpine graphic EQ, pretty sweet! The customer had no idea it was back there.

Just curious to see what everyone else is finding while doing installs... I always think of that episode of unique whips where Remy found panties inside of a sub enclosure whenever I find treasure in a car...

I've found money, all the time, under a backseat, or that fell behind the pocket of a radio or something, thats always fun.. Had a buddy find some weed under the center console of a car once. What other fun stuff are we finding!?

i've found money...something in little wrappers that i didn't wanna touch (thinking it was black tar, girl said she bought the car at auction like 3 days prior and just picked it up the day i worked on it. it was under the center console in a DSM, still bolted down.) i've found audio equipment all kinds.

Found a cack pipe while putting rear speakers in my friends civic.
And i Pulled more then $20 in change out of my center console while installing my stereo.
They pulled the cover out and was using the space by the E brake as a holder lol

Im not a install but i think it counts?

I have found crack pipes, meth pipe (cut my fingure), dirt draws-eww, money, weed, # 8 ***** of coke- Customer did not know it was in his car that he bought and had for a year, and 2 fingers in a driver door, Yes cut off fingures. These were when i was manager at circuit city,

Now a days its mostly weed and money that customers forgot about or did not know about.

I found a bra and panties in the rear shock tower access holes of a CR-X right after I purchased it. Found a 9mm bullet when I pulled up carpet in my Midori to install a new floor harness. I haven't pulled the back seats out of my current car, but this makes me want to.

True, but i most ask. What happend with the fingers? Like after you found them what did you do?

The police were called and I had to make a statement and then off to the dr for a couple of shots. Nasty thing is I picked them up till I relized what they were and then I ran around the shop in circles screaming ewwwwww.

When I bought my '00 Civic coupe, I found over $20 in spare/loose change in the coin pocket as well as the center armrest. I guess the PO was too lazy or forgot to gather them up prior to selling me the car. That was money well spent....for lunch. Hell yeah!

When i was installing a head unit & speakers in an van at my old shop...i looked in the back and there was a hamster in a cage and a bunch or sex toys,lube, etc in the back. That was by far the nastiest/oddest thing i have seen during an install. Poor hamster.

Then, the usual: drugs, money/change, condoms (used & new), needles.
