Default Help car audio doesnt work!?!?!

my dad was installing a battery in my car and put it on backwards frying one of the fuses that connect to that battery i replaced it but it still doesnt work, but now my radio wont turn on. could it be another burnt out fuse underneath the stearing wheel where all the fuses are at? pls i really rather just do it my self then take it to an audio shop.

Test the radio fuse that's in the fuse box next to the battery. It is a 7.5A fuse labeled radio/back up. After you test that one and confirm that it is good then check the 7.5A fuse in the fusebox under the dash next to the steering column.

MM&Y of car would help, and so would knowing if HU, [car audio] is stock or aftermarket, and if aftermarket, the make and model.

BTW, don't let your dad work on your car anymore, no one has the right to mess up your car, except yourself. 94

The radio fuses are fuse 47 - 7.5A, [hot at all times] in engine bay fuse box and fuse 28 - 10A, [hot is acc. and run] in under dash fuse box.

The fuse on the line going to the batt. is the main power for the Alpine amp.
If you have an aftermarket HU, there will also be a fuse on it's constant power input, although it will probably be higher amperage then the 7.5A in the engine bay fuse box so it is unlikely it has blown. 94
