Enclosure for Audiobahn sub??
Hello, I currently just bought a 12" flame q Audiobahn AW1206T subwoofer. It supposingly runs 1100 watts rms, but Im going to be pushing 440 watts x 2 at 2 ohms off of a Power Acoustik amp. BTW, i've never really heard much about them except they look cool at night with the lightning disc. But what my real question is, What enclosure should i go for with this one sub? I'm looking to hit a pretty good db rating with this amount of power, and if possible deep sounding bass.
I had 2 10" kicker comp subwoofers in my car before being pushed by a blaupunkt amp at 300 watts x 1 bridged. Im hoping this system will sound better. The sound quality of the kickers werent bad but it just couldnt hit some of the notes it tried to and it sounded like crap.
Thanks for any help on the enclosure question! Justin

Re: Enclosure for Audiobahn sub?? (fcm)
Well... lol I knew that. But there's nothing specific to that subwoofer. I guess Im asking about if there's anything specific to it. I can't build a box myself either, it would turn out horrible. If possible I would like to find something that has like a fiber glass top or something because, the magnet and back of the sub is freaking beautiful. Thanks.

Re: (wrx-killer)
I hit you up on the email - Hopefully we can work something out about a box. There is like nothing that meets the maximum standards of this sub anywhere and I don't want to run a bandpass box, they usually don't sound very good. Thanks!

Re: (wrx-killer)
I hit you up on email but I havent got a response back yet. I was wondering if you could make me box to the standards on the website for my specific sub, the aw1206t, ported if possible. A fiberglass one would be cool to see the flames on the back of the sub, but if that's too hard a pretty big cubic feet one would be cool. Let me know about what the price range would be for you to build it and ship it and I'll let you know if I'm interested !!
