Compustar Pro Tach Sensing Error
Hey everyone, having a bit of an issue with the auto start on my compustar pro.
Car is a 97 Accord Ex-R. I have connected the tach sensing wire to the blue wire on the coil. When I do the tach learning, the brain accepts the signal and everything is fine, but when I go to actually start the car, I get error 8, tach/voltage sensing failure, any ideas as to what this could be?
TIA

Re: Compustar Pro Tach Sensing Error
Unfortunately no, it was bought off someone other than an authorized dealer, however it was a new warranty replacement.
I traced down the issue to the clutch switch. I connected status out to the red/blue wire coming off the switch but Im assuming that was the incorrect wire somehow. For now I jumped the switch and everything is working perfect, but I plan to revisit when its a little warmer.
