Default Car stereo installation problem

Just purchased a CD deck, tried to install it in my 94 Camry, bought the wiring hardness from best buy, wiring harness(came with 2 different set). Hooked it up and the CD worked. But at night, my odometer light did not lid up, so does the the back light. and the turn signal light. Just the lights, everything else is working. The gas gauge and the odometer is still working, the car brake light is still working when I applied the brake, the interior dome light is still function as well as the doors. So I went back took out the entire front dash, check for the light bulbs inside the odometer. Everthing seems ok. Check out all the fuses and it looks ok. I even took out the new CD deck and replace with the stock old cd. The old cd is working. But the lights of the back, and the odometer, and the heater/ AC panel did not lid up. Can some one give me any idea. What's I did wrong? Thanks in advance, one last thing when I took out the wiring harness, and recheck ( in came with 2 set) what's is the DIMMER - AND DIMMER +, and I did hook it up together. So does the ground ( on the side it said " hook it up to the groud chasis, but I just hook them up together) Should I leave these 4 wire alone? Instead of hook them up together? Sorry for the long post and again thanks

I never do. Eliminates problems such as that. Disconnect your orange wires from the harness, actually, pull them right out of the tan plug, and put everything back together. Lights will turn right back on.
