Check your fuse's under the dash. Im not sure which one it is but I had the same problem and I replaced a blow fuse and it worked along with the annoying but usefull beeping when you leave your keys in the ignition.

You need the stock radio for the dome light to work on the EX. It's the keyless entry brain, and also controls the dome light, since the dome light comes on when you click the keyless.

I like my stock radio and CD slave, thank you very much. Nobody steals OEM ****.
Go buy one on ebay, and hide it under the dash with a piggy-back harness so it gets ground, ignition, and constant.

He either spliced some wires, or he tucked your radio behind your dash.

That's the one you need. Note the black antenna bolted to the back. That's the one that has the keyless brain.

Just know, you need to have that green plug in the radio, and it needs red, yellow, and black (12v, ign, and ground). It'll also allow you to have keyless.

Yep. That long rectangle between the AM/FM and CD/TAPE buttons is actually a button. You hold it down with the car on II (Ignition) and the doors closed, and then just press the buttons on the fob one after the other until your locks cycle. Ta-da, you've programed a keyless fob.

Re: HELP... Dome light dosent come on w/ door open (ZanderGTS)
Ok so i finally got all the stuff i needed to do this and hooked up the radio to try and program the fob and it wont work idk whats the problem... The dome light comes on now but still cant get the keless to work. I also have a older alarm system that came w/ the car that locks the doors when the car is in drive but i didnt get a remote w/ and cant find or buy one so i went this way, do you think that it is over riding the signal from the oem keyless?

If you're not concerned about the whole keyless thing, it's real simple to make the dome light work.
On the "extra" plug for the radio, there is a lime green/red and lime green/black wire. Strip them and twist them together and your dome lights work again.
You will still lose keyless if the car came with it as a stock option.
