Default Alarm wire help...

ok i have viper 791xv 2 way pager alarm my boi at circuit city hooked it up did the basic installation everything worked great. i re-ran and hide the wires and brain i wanted to hook it up so that when the trunk get opened the alarm goes off what can i hook up the green trunk wire to on the alarm what wire or does it matter? and also my alarm use to tell me if the door opens and would do a full siren but one day it stoped even before i re-ran the wires what could i check to fix that + my boi moved and i dont have his # any help o ya i have a 95 civic coupe ex

hook up the trunk pin to the same wires as the door or hood pin switch

maybe diode isolate each wire so there's no false triggers.

Door trigger is light green/red and trunk trigger is green/black with silver dots. On the 791xv there are seperate door and trunk inputs. I believe your door trigger is green off the alarm and the trunk is the blue multiplex input.

i checked the wireing everything is connected but when the doors open it doesnt do a full siren it only goes doot doot like a warning. it use to do that only when the door wasnt shut all the way may be i pluged it in the wrong spot in the brain? everything seems to work fine but on 2nd thought it did that before i messed with it it doesnt even show up on the 2 way...

if you open a door and you only get a warning chirp your door trigger is wrong, the shock sensor is detecting the shake from you opening the door, thats all.

when that dome light comes on, the alarm should fully go off, no matter what.

what this guy said above it correct, the solid blue is an instant trigger ground input, which you hook up to what the wire schematc software says to for the turnk input, you might have to run a wire to the back if it says to, im not at work right now so i cant check.

best bet would be to take it to a place that will do everything for you the right way.
