Accord 7thgen no sound on aftermarket stereo
Hello, ive installed an after market stereo and had it working for a few months but when i tried to install a new amplifier i may have had the wiring slightly wrong and there was a noise from the speakers then nothing.
I have disconected the amp and returned to how it was working before, power is on but still no sound, although when i plug the origanal headunit back in everything works fine.
I then thought it must be headunit so have bought a new one but still have no sound.
As it has the premium sound system i believe(not sure) it has a power amp already but is not turning on with the aftermarket unit only.
I have also checked with a multi meter that all the wires are making a circuit and all seems to be fine there so im now at a loss and scatching my head alot.
Im wondering if theres a relay or hidden fuse, or somthing to do with the cpu or somthing, does anybody know anything at all about this or could even tell me where the power amp is or should be located.
Any info would be much apprieciated as this is a mystery to me, Thanks.

both aftermarket head units are cheapys from china but are good and defanatly working.
the second amp that caused all the problems has been compleatly removed so isnt an issue i dont think,
and the wiring harness is like the one in this link:-

may have shorted something out, an aftermarket amplifier only needs the head unit for remote and signal. 1 blue wire for remote, and the rca plugs on the back, if you did anything else at the head unit to install 1 basic amplifier set up, then it was unnecessary and could've done something, although you say stock radio works? have to tested the aftermarket ones as well?

no i havent physically tested the aftermarket units, it would be very unlikley to have a fault of this nature, and then buy a brand new head unit with the exact same fault.
theres not even a hiss or cracle from the speakers, its as if the amp will not switch on with the aftermarkets but works fine with the stock unit.
ive just bought and tryed a new wiring harness to rule it out and has made no differance, still no sound.

ok, the aftermarket amp is working fine, i just checked it.
it must be the amp not firing up but it is wired up correctly as it had been working before, im puzzeld.
