So I recently wanted to replace the stock stereo, so I bought a new JVC stereo, harness, and dash kit. My father mistakenly snipped off the connector port that would connect to the stock stereo, which would later connect to the harness (which he didn't realize).

Anyways, I believe that before it was snipped, the dome light was working properly, as I was trying to use it when it was getting dark. I even switched the bulb to some new HIDs, but still no avail. The next day, the connector port was reconnected to the main wire but the problem still persisted. I noticed that when the engine was on, and that the dome light switch was set to ON, the clock would shut off, and I would hear a faint clicking noise. When its switched to the third (door open) position, the clock would constantly blink on and off.

I'm going to do a basic fuse check tomorrow, but I'm hoping someone would pitch in for any other solutions..

EDIT: It was just a simple blown fuse, I replaced the Radio and the Clock/Lights fuses and all is in working order.
