Honda Ridgeline Wins 2017 Truck of the Year and Unveils New Odyssey at Detroit Auto Show

Honda was on a roll at the North American International Auto Show, where it won awards before the circus had even started. With a full lineup on-site, and the all-new Odyssey proudly rotating on a platform, Honda and Acura brought it to the Motor City.

It was early on the first of Detroit’s press days that the Honda Ridgeline was named the 2017 North American Truck of the Year. Following that, the Japanese manufacturer was in high spirits and ready to unveil their 4th generation minivan to the world’s press.

Honda-Tech was on-site to stream the unveiling, as well as photograph the lineup at hand. On the showroom floor were the new Civic Si, the new CR-V, the Clarity, and 2018 Odyssey. The rest of the Honda vehicles were present, though they didn’t generate much buzz.

At the Acura booth across the hallway, the NSX gleamed while showing off its 2017 Road & Track Performance Vehicle of the Year accolade. And, the NSX GT3 race car from last year’s New York Auto Show also made a comeback. All-in-all, Honda is certainly starting 2017 with a bang!

The auto show will open to the public on January 14, so make sure to visit if you’re in the area. Enjoy the shots!
