Re: SoHonda Garage's Circuit DC5 Build
Hey guys, between back to back race weekends with work I was able to get a little done on the cage...
My two new dimple dies came in this morning in 1" and 1.75" sizes and I got the outer gusset plate done on the door bar. Dimple die looks so sick

Re: SoHonda Garage's Circuit DC5 Build
Thanks for the support guys! Just got back from a 12 hour endurance race with work... havent had a day off in 3 weeks but Hoping to finish up the cage work this week! Stay tuned
Until then heres a little something that just came in...
After looking at data from a similar paced car as to straight away speeds and corner exit speeds, we were able to determine the best final drive ratio that would work well for most of the tracks we will be running on. This will eliminate extra shifts at the end of straights, and put us in the right RPM range for corner exits
Since were now sponsored by Buddy Club I was lucky enough to get my hands on not one, but two Racing Spec 5.46 final drives. One for my EP3 and one for the DC5
This thing is badass, and super light. Its also crazy to see the gear teeth on the countershaft. Such a short ratio that the teeth are cut below the surface of the shaft 0__o
