Finally got around to uploading more pics along with more things done to my car...
Completed the Low Fuel Indicator retrofit! Went to the junk yard the other day and got the plug from the e-brake handle. You can use terminal connectors because they "look" the same, however I did not try this because I went with Deschlong's step by step how-to:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...6#post45005986
Just gotta wait til the fuel gets low enough to have the light go on!
I also took the opportunity to repair my fuel/temp gauge. It kept showing that I had a full tank of gas even though I know I do not. After replacing the Fuel Sender Unit (which could be a cause as to why the gas meter constantly shows full) the problem was still there. The only other thing to check was the meter itself. I found that the little conductor wires were broken so I solder some wires to complete the circuit. While at it I decided to play around with my Si logo and rubbed a q-tip dipped in acetone to clear out the back side of the meter. Now it lights up!
I also replaced the Clutch Stopper Pad. One day I saw this yellow plug hanging with a clip inserted into it. After hours of searching, I found out it was the plug for the clutch pedal. People plug stuff into this so they can bypass not having to step onto the clutch to start the car. Well what do you know? For the past year I could have started my car w/o stepping on my clutch!!! lol... Anyhow, I couldn't reach my finger in there to put in the stopper pad so I though this would help many who may have big hands like me .
1) Using a Flat Head screw driver, wrap some tape backwards onto the tip.
2) Stick the Clutch/Brake Stopper Pad onto the tip of the screw driver.
3) While slightly pressing down on the clutch with your hand (just press down enough so you can stick the screw driver all the way up to where the stopper pad supposed to go.
4) Now push back (away from the hole) so that you can depress the clutch sensor pin (push the pin all the way in).
5) Finally push the clutch pedal all the way down while pushing the stopper pad forward so that you can "pop" the pad into the hole.
Sorry no pics of the process, I had a bad enough time trying to fit under there while maneuvering a flash light, the pedal, and the screw driver.
Well that's about it for now... Tune in when I attempt to straighten my hood so that it lines up with everything else!

Don't think I've seen too many people with the "Si" on their clusters lit up, that's pretty cool I like little things like that
Keep it up! I have a friend that has a black EG on fit wheels, perhaps showing this thread will inspire him to do something with his

Thanks!!! Modding the cluster wasn't very hard at all. It just takes patience as you only want to trim a little at a time... also, most of the work will be doing the wiring. Wiring and soldering took a lot longer than trimming the cluster.
Thank you! I hope it'll inspire many to cleanly mod their vehicles just like how many build threads that are here already inspired me.

Sorry guys, been away for awhile. Had a lot of fun family events as well as personal things to deal with. Things are smooth at the moment. Got rid of the EX seats that were in the car and finally able to put in the JDM "anniversary" checkered front seats. I was so excited to put in the front seats I forgot to swap out my seat rails for the passenger side. It's the seat rails that spring/slide forward so your passengers who sit in the back do not have to squeeze through the front passenger seat, but to "walk-in"(Deschlong). So this weekend, maybe next weekend I will be able to go back to my storage to retrieve those seat rails. Here is a DIY courtesy of Deschlong's page on how to do this conversion. (Thanks to having JDM seats and how the passenger side is the driver side and vise versa, I have DUAL WALK-IN SEATS!

Re: Kman's EG Restoration...Rebuilding from Trash to Treasure
BTW I didn't know how to remove the seat rails either... So here you go!
http://socalcivic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16944
The only trouble I had was removing that last bolt on the side where your mechanism for releasing the seat forward is. The last bolt is way up inside the upper portion of the seat. After removing the bottom (instructions are on the DIY link above) it is a lot easier to figure out how to unwrap your upper seats to get to that bolt. So once the bottom seat cushion is off, if you look closely on the bottom of the top portion, where the seams "line up" you will be able to sort of slide both parts opposite ways (left & right) to separate. One side of the separation is like a U and the other side is like an I... The I part hooks into the U part. (Sorry I didn't think to take pictures at the time I was doing it. Was damn hot outside and I thought it was going to be a quick 15 min job but it ended up taking me 40 minutes and I was in a rush to go somewhere lol). Anyhow, after you slide the two pieces apart from each other (you only have to do one side, which is the side with the mechanism - the side that you recline your seat with) stick your finger into the hole where the zipper is and kind of fondle around until you catch the rest of the zipper part on the inside. If you wiggle your finger enough you will be able to pull out the remainder of that zipper strap and finally unzip your seat! get to that bolt and breathe a sigh of relief that the part is over with. I am not linking a DIY to this because I did not search for it. I was just messing around with my seat and trying to figure out how the heck was this seat zippered but there was no zipper to be found! so I kept reaching around in the hole (haha) and ended up accidentally unbuckling the two parts that hook into each other then I got to the zipper. Probably is a DIY on it, I just didn't look. Now that I am comfortable with unhooking seats (almost was well as me unhooking bras) I will probably attempt to do Deschlong's seat warmer retrofit, but will most likely do both top and bottom. Stay tuned! Here are the next few projects on the list (most likely in that order):
1) Integra Type R 25" front sway bar install
2) Dash Trim Bezel
3) Prep rear interior for JDM interior install
4) Integra Type R rear strut bar install
5) Customize holes on the panel covers for strut bar (like how stock ITR has them for the rear strut, only hard part is finding the right stripping material.)

Re: Kman's EG Restoration...Rebuilding from Trash to Treasure
Had some extra time today so I did a few things to the car. Used a spot weld remover for the first time. I guess I should have youtubed on how to use it or something lol. Anyhow, I removed the seat brackets to the rear. Will have to patch the holes I made lol. Planning to clean and paint the rear interior anyways.
I then shot some paint onto it to protect it from rust. Had some touch up paint lying around so I sprayed it. Didn't bother to do much cleaning as I was running out of time so it was just a quick spray job.

Looks good so far, you gotta weld up those holes for sure, kinda sucks that happened. Good luck with the install, I hope it turns out good.

Thanks Derek, sorta just went out there Gung-Ho lol. So you recommend welding the holes instead? I was just going to bondo them but I now I'm thinking of getting them welded. Thanks for the tip!

Came home today and decided I needed to clear the table as these items have been sitting there for WEEKS. Finally sealed and aligned the fog lights. Now all I need to do is install them! maybe this weekend? not sure when, but here is a pic of the finished work. (I also paint custom lures)

Hello HT! Just wanted to update... been away for awhile but I am back. Will be updating over the weekend (hopefully). Planning to do some body work (thanks to Derek for his knowledge and enlightenment) and probably install my front sway bar. Stay "tuned"

Didn't get to work on the car over the weekend due to unforeseen circumstances. Had some time today though... got started on my jdm rear interior... lol
My alarm also came in today. Woot! I wonder how long it'll be until I can start on this project... lol

Had some time during lunch, decided to slap on new pedal covers. The clutch pedal was missing a cover, the brake pedal cover and the accelerator pedal cover were both worn.
(I shop between keenanhondaparts.com and hondapartsunlimited.com)
Brake/Clutch Pedal Cover: 46545-SH3-000
Accelerator Pedal Cover: 17816-SK7-000
