Your car is so beautiful! I've been trying to buy my old coworkers EBP for about 6 years now since he babies it and it's low miles. I have to say that I hate you in the nicest way possible and to keep doing what your doing because your doing it the right way!

My favourite car ever, a simple Civic EM1, congratulations on all the work, it's WORTH IT!
So jealous of that Spoiler and rear lip.

Thanks for the love guys!
Just keep on him, never know when he will budge! haha. and thank you!
Quality > Quantity i would love to have an R eventually, but something about a sexy EM1 just gets my ricer juices flowing haha. Ive never owned an integra before, ive had 5 EKs and 2 EGs (im kind of partial to Civics lol) but would love to get a gsr or ITR in the future for sure!
Gracias brochacho, the OEM rear lip is one of my fav pieces on my car. Its so subtle, but the people that are "in-the-know" can appreciate it for what it is lol. They are just stupid rare here in the US so im still amazed that i managed to come across one for sale.
I see that you live in Portugal, were the OEM rear lips available there? If so, are they pretty rare in your country?
Also, I have a wingless trunk that i might throw on when i switch up my wheel setup, it just looks kinda naked without the wing the way she sits now in my opinion

Re: '00 EBP EM1 SLOW-Build from the Lone Star State!
SMALL UPDATES!
after getting her back from paint, there was still a few things i needed to button up.
installing my EDM mirrors. just a little side by side comparison
grabbed my oem underhood stickers and got ready to throw them on.
Before:
After:
I feel like this is one detail that is too often overlooked when using a hood that has been repainted. Looks much better with the OEM decals in place in my opinion.

Re: '00 EBP EM1 SLOW-Build from the Lone Star State!
Couple quick pics i snapped on my way home!
Came out pretty cool if you ask me
woke up early and despite having a long night planned, decided to do a few small things to Emma.
installed the oem bumper plugs and readjusted the front lip.
and the factory rear mudguards along with the oem rear lip. I was pretty pleased with how well the lip/mudguards fit together.
I noticed that the passenger mirror glass was flat and NOT convex like the US spec mirrors are here in America (hence the "objects may be closer than they appear" warning on passenger mirror glass), so i hit the junkyard to try and find a alternative that would fit my EDM mirrors.
Came across a DC4 integra and realized that the glass from the 94-01 Integras are an EXACT MATCH for the EK folding mirrors! So if you ever need glass for your jdm or edm EK folding mirrors, integra glass matches perfectly!
Busted out my handy dandy OEM service manual
Removing the original glass
Glass out!
And the new Integra glass going in! Never thought I would be using old surgical tools from work to fix my car, but damn did those hemostats make my life easier when I was installing the tabs into the back of the glass!
And FINISHED!
Later that night I got to see one of my favorite rappers in the entire world, Logic. Crazy *** show, one of the best concerts ive ever been to!
The powersteering bracket was looking kind of ratty so i decided to do something about it
Rusty Powersteering Bracket
Hit it with a couple of coats of semi-gloss black paint for that OEM finish.
quick pic
installed
One of my friends had just got a new Dodge Challenger, but a week after she got it someone hit and ran her car at her apartment while she was sleeping.
instead of her paying her $500 deductible, i told her i could give it a shot and see what i could do with it (in exchange for a combo meal lol)
Some sanding and buffing, along with a little elbow grease, I managed to get it looking 95% better than it did before!
$6 combo meal > $500 deductible lol.

Re: '00 EBP EM1 SLOW-Build from the Lone Star State!
soooo... i got the itch to buy a few things and came across a steal on a pair of black DC2 Recaros with rails for $450!
I had just gotten off work and had to head straight over to scoop them up.
When you have an EM1 who needs a truck? left my stock passenger seat at home and loaded these babies up!
The black is gonna look killer with the EBP
The tilt adjusters were facing towards the middle of the car and were hitting on my armrest (ITR/CTR have armrest deletes in Japan so this is not an issue for them), so i got to work and swapped brackets.

Re: '00 EBP EM1 SLOW-Build from the Lone Star State!
Ive also been wanting to get rid of the chrome stock with amber reflector headlights for a while now. I told myself after the Recaros i was going to stop buying things for a bit, but lo-and-behold a MINT pair of OEM CTR headlights came up for sale locally, and i was able to scoop em up for $350! Was literally ready to order brand new ones for twice the price from HMO, but found these in perfect shape for a fraction of the price!
The boring factory lights!
When i bought the headlights, they did not have pigtails or sockets for the city lights. I took a little trip to the junkyard at realized that the sockets and pigtails for the license plate lights (on 96-00 civic) and front turn signals on 94-01 Integra work perfectly for the city lights! Im sure there are other applications that work as well, these are just the ones i came across when i was rummaging through the scrap yard. Saved me time and money from having to order both online! Yayy for interchangability!
I tapped into the factory turn signal wiring and connected to the Red (switched power) and the Black (ground) wires of the stock harness. Make sure you give yourself enough slack to allow for running the plug to the headlights. Follow the guide below for a step-by-step guide on how to install.
City Light Install
Installed and all wired up
My buddy Jorge stopped by in his badass Evo to shoot the breeze
and a night pic. I was trying to decide which bulb to go with for the city lights. I bought the amber 194LL bulbs, but felt like it was too much amber. Went back and picked up some of the regular 194 bulbs and installed them, and i think that i like these better! Not sure what is supposed to be there from factory, mabye someone can chime in and let me know?
Got bored on my day off so i decided to clean off the headlights and give them a quick hit with the buffer.
Also removed the OEM moonroof visor and put it in storage, not quite sure how i feel about it anymore.
aaaaaaaandddd after!
All together
side
and the money shot. I really like this pic for some reason

I have always been one to believe in the attention to detail.
picked up a couple of OEM parts from the stealership for the Si.
Old rusty **** #1
Old rusty **** #2
New vs Old
(the blue marks on the new bolt wiped off with a little rubbing alcohol. guess its from the manufacturing process?)
INSTALLED:
Also picked up the oem wiper hose holder clips. Pretty sure i installed them in the wrong spot, but oh well haha.
And just because
My roommates sleeper Z/28 Camaro. Looks stock on the outside but this things is built and cammed and hauls ***!
The cowl was looking faded and tired, so i removed it to freshen it up.
Hit it with a few coats of trim paint and reinstalled it. Few minutes of work but it made a hell of a difference.
