Re: *SHG_Riley's Midori Build*
doh dohs
So I sent my brake lines back after speaking to someone from No limit Motorsport (I'd recommend not buying from them, customer service sucks) they said it would be fine and they would swap them for the ones I need. Days later I receive an email stating that my brake lines were a special order and cannot be returned. So I called them back, told them the situation and asked what they were going to do now that they have my parts back, there response was "I dont know" and Ill be getting a call back sometime in the next few days. ****ing bullshit, its been exactly 1 month now since the day I ordered them.
On a good note, I should have the undercarriage all done and por'd by Friday before I leave for a few days. Pics to come

Re: *SHG_Riley's Midori Build*
I actually found through trial and error that when the POR is new it's better to spray it as is. I tried reducing it 4:1 the first time, way too thin then tried 5:1 and still too thin. Last time I sprayed it came out really nice with no reducer. If it's been sitting around a long time and is thickened up a bit you might need a splash of reducer.

Thanks! The good thing about por is that it evens itself out so there are no brush marks in it. Only annoying thing is when a bristle comes out of the brush every now and then and gets in the paint.
I started on the rest of the undercarriage today. There were small rust spots scattered throughout the tunnel, but nothing major. The car was only driven in one or two winters to my knowledge. I grinded down the metal and all rust spots, and now its all ready to be painted. It should be done with 3-4 coats by tomorrow, moar pics then

^ Im saying right! Must be nice having a mint chassis that only has a little bit of "surface" rust and thats it. Nothing a little wire wheel, fresh hardware and some paint can't fix!

I saw yours on nwp looks great. The bay came out really nice too
Just got back from vacation and finished the undercarriage with the por. I'l have to take better pics in the daytime when there is more light in the garage. This is 4 coats total, im happy with the outcome. I finally got my brake line issue taken care of today, new ones are on the way, hopefully I get them by the weekend so I can have the car on the ground again and being work on the bay and motor.
New hardware for the shifter:

Despite my piece of **** for a camera, these pics are a bit better than the last. Just received my brake lines so depending on if I have to work or not everything may be together within the next day or two!

I hear you on that not laying on the floor to do POR15 cause that is not fun at all.
Great progress thought Riley really liking it bro.
I have to wait until I buy the dam full brake lines since the ones on my car were rusted the phuk out before I start to put back the fuel tank and the rest of things.
