Is por15 that legit? Have you used it in the past? I keep seeing people saying that it peels off? Can you shed some light on the subject? I want to do this to my car

Just like anything else if corners are cut during application the results will be disappointing. With a clean and well prepped surface por15 is an excellent product. I've seen cars daily driven through NY winters hold up just fine.

Just my 2 cents

Yeah I figured that. I really want to do it to my car so rust isn't an issue. I just want some real life feedback.

Thanks for the kind words I'm making this car how I always imagined to look and Id like to hold on to it for as long as possible. The trends and fads come and go, but the look Im going for it timeless and I dont think it would ever go out of "style" imo.

Its worth it if you do it correctly. It is alot of work though and if you dont havea lift its a major pain in the *** laying on your back brushing it on.

Im looking for a 96-98 5spd Ex engine harness if anyone comes across one! I need this harness and the car will be running asap.

Once I get the harness the subframe will go in, along with the brakes and the car will be back on the ground. I got my front Buddy Club camber kits and installed those. I also got new Oem inner and outer tie rods. I put those in and the steering rack/subframe is ready to go in.

I worked on the front knuckles and brakes this week. I painted the arms, the rotor centers, and calipers. I picked up new lower balljoints, I just have to press them in and then the rotors, calipers and new Hawk pads will go back on and be installed on the car when i put the subframe in.

**** doesnt look like this things gonna make it to the BBQ saturday
ive been telling my friends who are going about how you tore down this entire car and assembled it back to life. to see the transformation on this website is amazing to watch come together piece by piece. None of them really know about cars and are so surprised how you reassembled something so complicated, they also couldn't see why someone would want to Rebuild a Honda "its just a lil civic" they keep saying. I also showed them a picture of the engine in the new bay and they insisted that it didnt actually look that good they said it was a picture of when it the car was new (im not even lying here) I wanted to show them its not some type of "scam" and have them compare the engine picture to real life at the BBQ. Maybe next years meet ill shut them up lol

I still need the Ex engine harness. I cant find anyone that will part it from the motor, and there just hard to find in general. If I dont find one in the next few days Il have to get a Dx harness and just do the modifications to make it work. But if anyone has one please let me know! Once i get the harness the car will be running asap!!

Only update I have:

Love the pole positions.. I gotta get me a set once my caR is finished. Also I know how you felt prepping for the por15 as I did my fender wells this weekend. So worth it when finished.

I love the seats, just have to order seat rails this weekend. Havent decided what im going to go with. Thanks to gabebauman for coming through on a clean harness. I put it in 2 days ago, only had to extend the 02 sensor and the cfk sensor, she fired right up It sounds like it runs good, cant wait to drive it!

Today me and Connor put the subframe, lcas, sway bar, and exhaust on. I just need a new axle boot, then the axles, brakes and everything will come together. Then bleed the brakes and I can take it for a test drive around the block.

New Avid Racing Torque Mounts w/ solid AEM brace that usually comes with a cold air:

Heres a video of it running, i dont know why the video is sideways, it wasnt taken like that lol

Those torque mounts look sick, hopefully the car doesnt vibrate too much with all that poly. My spoon mounts were the perfect compromise between comfort and performance.

That front suspansion all layed out looks sick too, factory fresh

Cant wait to see this car back on the road, think youll get any time in this year?

Thanks dude, hopefully its still comfortable with all of the mounts, well see what happens. Im hoping next week it will be completely driveable, so il register it and figure out my paint situtation. Hopefully have it painted and all done end of september or begining of october. Il still have a solid 2 months to drive it then.
