*Official* HybridRacing's Del Sol
*If you have any recent pictures of this car, please DO NOT post them*
I will be updating this thread daily, and I'd like to keep all recent photos of this car for the end, so people can see its progress.
Car information:
1997 Honda Del Sol
Engine:
Built K20A2
Built By:
Hybrid Racing
3348 Drusilla Lane
Baton Rouge, LA 70809
225.932.9588
Special Thanks to:
Cesar/Noah @ SIK Creations
Lee/Tad @ Driveshaft Shop
Marc Fresh @ Never Rotten
Chase @ Chasebays
The car started off as a modded Del Sol that we picked up locally and was transformed into a swap showcase for Hybrid Racing. The car was sent off to paint for 5 weeks and returned 5 days before it's debut @ Import Alliance 2009.
The car came with some big 17" wheels which were scrapped and I put a set of wheels we had laying around to get the car rolling again. (M&H's :up
Begin the process...
The car was damaged in the front door pretty badly as you can see the hole in the wheel well. This actually caused a bit of unforeseen damage because the targa top, door jam and front subframe had all been pushed slightly out of wack. This will all be straightened out by the guys @ SIK Creations.
Here are a few pictures of the damage to the floorboard. :wow:
More updates coming soon with more pictures of the car getting ready for paint.
Next up:
Sound deadening material removal
Finishing touches to the car for paint
Stay tuned!
