no h series love though... as always, we are left in the dust of the R&D, laying on the engineers' table, gathering dust; forgotten

Wow, looks clean Tom.
I can personally say that I RAPED that car at the track all day with zero glitches. It just kept getting faster and faster! Can't wait to see the new setup.

Yep the only thing replace in thw 14k that it ran was the rod bearings and rod bolts.. I only did that because there was a score in 1 of them from dirt..
The gas ports were completely UNCLOGGED and looked the same as they did the day I built it.. Clogged gasports is a myth here on ht.. (assuming its tuned properly)

I have a few quick questions, what cam timing did you end up with when you had your skunk2 stage 3s? And if i were to get new cams wich direction would you point me, I have pretty much the same setup as you but with a b20 block and Im still using a manifold+throttle body?
Thanks
Thanks

Did the same thing on mine (Hone fitted), except used Clevite's. Def. recommend the hone
which cams did you find optimal for your build?

I would run the skunk pro-1's if I were you..or what you have if its a daily driver..
I cant remeber cam timing, but I beleive my gears were at +3+1? cant remeber really.

Well thats a hard one..Reson being is that the dyno #'s were higher on some cams but on the street they felt slower then the ones that made less power..The buddy4 and skunk pro-1 ruled the dyno on mine, but the skunk pro-3 felt the strongest while driving the car because they have a nice 10 whp jump at 4-5k which is the rpm I'm at alot while cruising around and having fun..

The pro-1 is my favorite cam to date.. They make power in every motor we have run them in..

Thanks for the info, whats your take on rocket cams? The car isn't a daily driver, cam timing is still zero'ed, through the throttle body it made 232whp and 161Tq, I'll try adjusting the cam timing next time I go to the dyno, I have a dual throttle body manifold I fab'd I need to test out. Thanks again
