Default quick AND reliable

hey guys, my exterior is just about finished with my EK conversion, after my interior comes the engine. It's about 6 months down the road but i'm starting the research now. have a JDM B18c GSR. I am going to be building this car to run as efficiently and reliable as possible in an effort to keep it to where I can still drive it to shows and events around here (Nopi nationals is 5 hours away in ATL, HIN is only 3 hours away in Charlotte). For reliability, i'll first be looking at keeping it cool with 94 integra full length aluminum radiator, low temp thermostat, low temp fan switch, oil cooler, tranny cooler, fuel cooler, cooling plates. This should keep it running cool and efficient.
Once my engine build starts what I really need help on is the compression ratio. My final goal for the engine is 200-220whp. With this in mind, with the help from a very nice head, (down the road) itb's, nice street stage 2 cams, i belive that 11:1 compression would do just fine to get me to my goal and also keep it reliable enough to take it to shows and events.
Any help is appreciated.

the question, as stated is... what compression ratio will give me the power that I'm looking for while also being reliable enough to take on decently long trips (5-6 hours long).

Conan - if all posts are car specific only, why are there other locations such as "all motor" to post in??

If you actually go back and read what you wrote in that original post, that question was never stated. You said you believe 11:1 will get you where you want to be. Thats a statement. Not a question.

All Motor exists for posting technical questions and information. Your post is more general than technical which is why he suggested you post in a more general car forum.

Your post tells all who read it that you've been educated by advertisements rather than experience or education (as in real world-hands on). Your extreme focus on keeping eveything cool and listing everything you did as well as your power goal tells us you need to spend more time in the general forums learning before you're ready to jump into a techical forum where any answer you receive will for the most part, be over your head.

just re-read my first post... true that the actual question was never stated, but i felt it was implied.
also true that i do not have a lot of honda experience but i have done enough research and seen enough numbers to know what kind of work gets what kind of power.

my very simple and general all motor question is: Will 11:0 compression get me to 200-220whp? I was listing the other mods that I will have done becuase I know that just throwing some high compression pistons in a stock GSR will not get me to my goal.

Anyone else find this conflicting?

If your research provides you with this superficial wisdom, why are you here asking us?

OP, if you knew a build combination that would get you to your desired goal then you would not be asking about compression and whp.

I recommend that you go look in the all motor dyno thread at the top of the forum. You will find numerous combinations of motors, parts, etc. This will aid you to getting to your desired goal.

How is it a "poorman's R"? I didn't see where the OP mentioned the use of a B16 head over his GSR, although IMO a "poorman's R" could also be thought of as any B18 VTEC that has been built to mirror or exceed the performance of the ITR.
