Well you figure a B16 from the factory puts out like 180HP? Obviously not WHP but it is rated at that.

Deckplate, 95mm crank, custom rods/pistons. Fully ported head, big cams with supporting valvetrain. Custom intake and exhaust manifolds, good tune, race gas = 300whp B16

Exactly my point, clearly with aftermarket selection you can build a B16A to more potential than the B16B.

It'll be waaaaaayyyyyyy cheaper to build using a b20. I'd say half the price and it'll yield more tq for sure.

You know what dude, stop asking these kindergarten questions. Go to freaking hmotorsonline.com and they have the hp numbers. Do some research. There is so much info on this forum you don't need to ask these repeated questions

and if i would get more accurate search results when i would type in "b16 swap" and get titles that deal with B16 swap then it would make everything hell of a lot EASIER so if a admin is reading this change that please. for more accurate search results

dont blame Honda tech search engine for your lack of searching skills. There are sooo many b16 builds on here you can look up. Heck, 4 years ago i managed to figure out everything i needed to do to use a b17 crank and rods in an old b16 setup. You strayed off from your original question on to asking the differences between the years of the b16 (obd) all the way to what are the differences of trannies (cable and hydraulic). Kids these days that even dont have their license yet know these differences. You really need to search.
