Default Manley rods

I'm kinda new to the all motor thing. As you can see from my user name im a turbo guy. I have a built bottom end in my basement that is as follow's. Darton sleeved with endyn 9.0-1 pistons and manley turbo tuff rods. I was thinking about poping out those 9.0-1 pistons and dropping in a set of 12.5's and do an all motor setup. I wanted to know can i use the manley turbo tuff rods being that they are heavy and made for a forced induction setup. Also this block is a 2.0 B18C1 with an 84mm bore. Any imput would be helpful thanks in advance.

I know Manley builds an ultra-light rod which I know weighs considerably less than a stock rod or even an eagle rod.....they were the lightest ones that I could find, awesome for all-motor use!

The best rod on the market, Gary Gardella uses them in his rocket and I haven't seen any of his engines go from rod failure yet. I would reuse them.

Thanx for all the info guys. I thought it would be ok but again i have never been an all motor guy and wanted to get some other opinion's from some users. I know this is kinda off of my topic but since im going to have to get some new pistons does anyone know of some who has endyn high comp pistons that would work in an 84mm gsr block. and is 12.5 ok to run in a somewhat street car with some track time once every few weeks. Im not going to daily drive it so do you think i should go lower or higher?

well i heard of people running 12.5 on the street on pump gas but i dont see how unless they run it all assed out with no timing...considering we are lucky to have 94 and 100 at the pumps here in NJ I can run 12.5 without much drama plus a godd buddy stores hundreds of gallons of various VP fuels its not bad... be careful with your tuning as its real fickle with weather...the hotter it gets the slower my car feels
Manley has NA ultralights but not sure if they were released yet or not
I can find out tomorrow
