Try waiting 22 months for a cylinder head. And that was no porting being done.(NOT from Flores)
6-7 months isn't **** if a person like DonF is working on it. It's a classic example of "you get what you pay for." Mr. Flores is one of THE best in the industry at what he does, and frankly, he doesn't give TWO ****'s about what a coupla kids on an internet forum think about him.
The newer members of H-T want everything for nothing, and don't want to spend the $$ for it cuz they don't wanna get there hands dirty. You little ***gots out there would rather sit at home and collect unemployment while still living with your parents and "build" your car that way.

ill tell you right now, if Robert Yates himself told me it would be a 22 month wait time for a head ported by yates racing, using the lastest technology, i would shake his hand, laugh, and tell him "i will enjoy making 5-10 less horsepower and having a running car for the next 2 years."
but you cant reason with the people defending don flores in this thread. they are weak minded individuals who cant take a step back from don flores crotch for a second and see the big picture.

So he managed to extract 60+ HP out of a stock block with cams, bolt ons, and a good tune? You usually see that much power on B20vtec builds. I'm curious what Don does differently that other builders/tuners don't do? I know bearing clearances as well as piston ring material and specs can provide some decent gains, but they come at the cost of longevity. I remember he talked my ear off when I asked him about that once.

I know. but people like yourself and me, we live in a place called the "real world". these guys that wait 2 years for a cylinder head and 6-7 years for a motor live in a fantasy land. they live there because people like donf and others have jazzed these kids up so much into believing they are the worlds best engine builders.

ive already posted that ive contacted the d.a in jacksonville and i havent heard anything yet,and that the next step is the bbb. i did sell everthing that i had over 3g's in just the top end and i sold it all for 900$ because i already have 2'500 in a shortblock that i dont have so i figure what the hell,i might as well loose some more money!! it was never said i couldnt post anymore,just that i was getting away from honda's and didnt come on here much anymore!! everyone on here that think the sun rises and sets in don's crotch are sadly mistaken,and looking like fool's,when he wont even come on here and deffend himself cause he knows he ****ed me,and there is nothing he can say,and you idots are defending him. think about it!!!! im just so ****ing discusted at this situation,what do i have to gain? and you people still wana set there and believe/defend him. if any of you where setting here in my shoes with all this lost money that sure as hell isnt easy to come by when your working 40+hrs a week in a factory you wouldnt be defending him,but feel just like i do. all im trying to do is warn the h-t comunity to prevent future *** rapings,and you can do is doubt me. if any of you wana deal with him go ahead'just dont bother making a thread down the road about how he ****ed you to!!

That IC3 FBI internet fraud site is a joke. I reported 2 members from here on H-T, I even gave them the scammers email addresses, paypal accounts, H-T pm's, etc. and I never heard from them or even got an email reply saying they were doing something about it.

Yep, IC3 is a joke. I lost almost $10k on eBay (my ignorance and wanting to trust people) and likewise never even got an email response. Dealing with cross-state crime for what is low dollar to the government it seems is near impossible. Local authorities can't do anything about it; technically over state lines it becomes FBI anyway, but good luck getting the FBI to chase down a couple g's. Frickin' lame.

You do not/DID not know my situation in life while I was waiting for my cylinder head. Trust me - it was far from a "fantasy land." Taking care of my dying grandmother, and then trying to purchase a home as a single guy isn't my idea of a fantasy. And during those 2-3 years, I didn't have time for my car. Sure I missed my car from time to time, and had my frustrating moments, but looking back at it....I value the time that I was able to spend with my grandmother during her last days MUCH more then what my car could have given me.
So thanks for trying to stereotype me guy....strike one.

oh no, he is right, anyone who waits 22 months for headwork has in IQ of less than 25. i say this because it takes an IQ that low to not realize that it does not take that long to do quality headowrk, and they were just putting your unimportant *** on the backburner.

CleanRice: Your 22 month comment seemed to imply that this is a reasonable amount of time to wait for good work. You also seemed to defend DonF's delays/BS and instead attack the victim in this case.
Now you are try to say you had personal issues to deal with which is why you didn't care about the wait.
The point is there are plenty of quality engine builders who do not require a ridiculous amount of time to deliver. This isn't about kids living with parents, Vbulletin v zeroforums, etc. This is about DonF basically scamming the OP.

not basically. he ripped the kid off. money and motor. in my eyes, he has ripped all the people off in this thread who are defending him. he ripped them off by making them believe he is the messiah of internal combustion and he can do no wrong.
ive talked to don flores on the phone a few times. he has a very slick, almost sly manner of speaking and i can literally hear his voice in my head telling guys like allmotorwhatever "ah pay no mind to that thread, they dont know what they are talking about." and thats what pisses me off most. knowing.

anyway,clean rice.... it took don 3 months to rebuild the motor,which was perfectly o.k even though he was just freshing it up,no boring,etc...
so you are saying its o.k for him to go over a year and still not ship the motor to me that has been ready? i know your a vendor on here,would you wait that long to ship a product? if you people step back and look at the picture,as much as you like don,he has ****ed me over good and never even gave me a kiss goodbye
