hey i need help with a poor man type r build. i have a 95 del sol b16 head and a standard 81.00 bore gsr bottom block. i'm trying to make at least 12.5 : 1 compression. i want to use eagle rods and JE pistons. does anyone have any suggestions? thanx

What setup do you plan on building that will require 12.5:1 CR? Or are you just doing it to brag to your friends about how high your CR is?

i just heard that when you put a b16 head it changes the combustion chambers volume. i heard that if you put ctr pistons in a gsr with a b16 head it makes almost 12.0:1 compression. but i want a little higher than that. i wasn't sure if you put 12.5:1 pistons if the valves would hit the pistons. and no i'm not building it to brag i'm building it cuz turbo is pretty obvious to CHP in california.
