Re: help me make more power!!!!! dyno inside!!!
looking pretty damn good id say, you are looking at somewhere in the 225-235 peak hp range, and 145-153ft/lbs peak at the crank........and since honda trannys use thin fluid i would lean more towards the low side(because theres less frictional loss of moving the fluid..........theres less power being eaten up by your drivetrain). your torque is VERY flat which is very good. i would try playing with the AFR and see what happens there............id have to do some visualizing to see what might be going on with your vtec engagement, but if i have an idea ill let you know.

sounds like a screaming engine reving out to 9000+rpms, get some pictures of the motor and the cam gears, lets take a peak to better help you get it straigned out. this is in a crx correct? whats done to the car beside the motor?

how much timing advance? why so rich !?!?!?
81mm bore?
i personally think cams are too big for the setup or is bleeding off too much compression, i.e. to lil dynamic compression so mess with the cam gears or get degree specs and degree the motor.

Tuned on E85 I think I read and I would run a GOOD 4 throttle setup on this engine and make use of the cams and sort out a better set of gear ratio's.

yes it is tuned on e85,yeah a closer gear set will do wonders, header will really open it up,but motor was build for nos,no point in spending 1200 on a header for max 20 hp,or direct port 150hp for 800.seems like a no brainer to me.

Actually since he's using tuner camgears (1 mark = 2 cam degrees), it's +2 intake and +6 exhaust. Looks like those gears have been in the negative side before. If they were new for this build do a leak down to make sure you didn't have any bent valves.

your setup need a decent header and exhaust system
do a dyno runs with the exhaust disconnect

If that wideband is correct that seems like a lot of fuel for e85. There is an extra volume of fuel in the cylinder due to nature of it. Your currently at approx .81 lambda. What happens to the power if you lean it out to say .89? In other words 13.0 displayed on the wideband?

Re: help me make more power!!!!! dyno inside!!!
Those cams aren't too big for that motor...
Those gear settings aren't correct, your using older style gears, Go back to your tuner and start at 0 on the intake and +2 on the exhaust.. your too advanced on your exhaust.. do the math, your taking too much away from your power stroke...
the only reason those cams seem sooooo big for that motor is because they aren't degreed in properly and the gear settings are all flubbed... TRUST ME please.. go back, reset your gears to what i said and re tune.

Re: help me make more power!!!!! dyno inside!!!
I have a similar situation as you. I too run the WS2 exhaust simply because I like the quietness it provides which is protection from the police in my area. I spoke with my tuner (james @ speedfactory racing) and next time I tune Im going to do a piggy back system. I will tune w/ the exhaust on AND open header. That way I can run my catback and benefit from a specific tune for the added backpressure but when I go to the track I can switch tunes to the open header to get peak numbers for racing. It will cost a few extra bucks but I will have the best of both worlds.
I will gladly drop 8whp on the street to keep the cops off my back and be able to drive up and down the freeway at 4k without hearing loss.

Right on good luck. The cops in my area are ********. If its shiny it must be loud is their mentality. I got pulled over so the officer could look at my exhaust and hear it unobstructed once. He made me free-rev it and once he figured out it sounded like sex he let me leave. I can't say I dont blame them though, Im tired of fart cans always being obnoxious.

What injectors are you using?
On my setup, which is very similar to yours I use injector dynamics 1000s because the cost isnt much more than rc or similar, and I will never run out of fuel with my setup. The spray patterns are also supposed to be second to none, and they idle great.
My motor is a gsr block and head with itr pistons and a 2 layer head gasket. I run a 68mm throttle body and a port matched sk2 intake manifold.
I also run a vteckidd narrow header which alot of people say its not best for making hp, same with my ws2 exhaust. I went to the dyno with my full exhaust setup, but made a strait pipe for the muffler. So the pipes are still only 60mm.
with s300 and e85 I still managed to get to 210hp, with a blox tuner stg 2 cam also.
There def should be alot more in your setup. Do a comp and leakdown test, re degree the cams and try again.

I actually have a somewhat similar setup. I have an 8hp power drop with VTEC at 5800. After a lot of research, I'm very confident that the problem lies with the WS2 exhaust. While I love the quietness of the exhaust, I'm not so happy with the power output.

Invidia Q300 is a 70 mm catback and really quiet, it allow great power up to 220-225 whp without to much back pressure, after that I experiment some power lost
