Default Exhaust Manifold Install

This Saturday i'll be attempting to install a manifold on the car and a spoon system. i'm guessing it's as simple as:

Jacking the car up high enough to remove the existing manifold underneath
Support it with axle stands
Undo the bolts and sensors
Replace the exhaust
Tighten the bolts to the correct specifications (exhaust manifold to cylinder head 31NM) after making sure it all fits
Start car
Test

I'm going to put some penetrating oil on the manifold bolts the night before, is there anything else i need to look out for or any tips?

Cheers

Fairly simple procedure you seem like you will be fine. Loosen and torque the manifold bolts in the oem recommended pattern. I believe its inside to out when disassembly and assembly. I just get them snug to the head then torque them tight, i don't use a torque wrench but the pattern is important to prevent warpage.

Thank you for replying.

Me and a couple of friends managed to do it yesterday with relative ease. Like you said, it was fairly simple and we didn't get caught out too much but where we did we managed to sort it out with a hammer and loads of shouting.
