It was the fear of valve-piston contact that detured me from using adj. cam-gears. Rods were definately LS so crank is too (I hope)

its different to dyno a velocity stack on the dyno.. when you test the car on the track you will notice gains from force and pressure by the speed of the car on the dyno. you dont have 100mph of pressurized forcing air into the intake.. we have presonally tested some cars which boost 1lb of pressure on allmotor car after speeds of 100 mph

Thanks for the info. I've always thought this was the case but I never tested it to be sure.

another key to velocity stacks is finding the optimum intake LENGTH.... without the optimum length you will not see optimum gains

& yes I call for 2nd test with BPi or PR velocity stack
