the a6 head will work. you of course need to mpfi swap the car, but other than that, it should bolt up and work.

yes. si crx or hatch.. pm6 will run it.. you will need the si distributor also.

the wiring is really the hardest part.. but there is plenty about that in the faq.

when you say the wireing is the hard part ;do i need the other half of the harness that goes into the car to the ecu.or can use the dpfi one to my ecu?

d16a6 head will bolt on. if you use the d16a6 cam, use a y7/y8 cam gear. if you use the d15b2 cam, use the d15b2 cam gear. as far as wiring, use your dpfi harness and convert it to mpfi. theres lots of write ups on this site on how to convert it.

That is correct.. you keep your entire wiring harness from your current car, and add a couple wires to handle 4 injectors instead of 2, and the additional sensor on the new si distributor. you also need to do some pin swaps in the connector in the cab of the car so all the wires go to the right ecu pin now that you are using the pm6 instead of the pm5.

Search dpfi-mpfi or just look in the faq.. there are probably atleast 5 different tutorials on this site that all explain how to do the wiring portion.

Or you can sent the whole harness to rywire and he will take care of it for you, for a price.

d16y7 and d16y8 share the same cam gear. theyre found in 96-00 civics. use the d15b2 timing belt. reason for doing this is because the y7/y8 cam gear corrects the timing due to the difference in deck height between the a6 and b2 blocks. the dealership sells the y7/y8 cam gear for under $20 bucks.
