Can i re-use wrist pins after pressing off pistons and pressing on new ones
I Want to press off my P72 pistons and press on my new P73 pistons using my same P72 rods but im not sure if i can re-use the same wrist pins? If i cannot where can i buy wrist pins besides the dealer? Thanks for any and all help.

The old wrist pins won't have the same hold that new pins will.
new pistons = new wrist pins included
used p73 pistons = buy new wrist pins or else muahaahaaaa!!!!

I know this thread is old but I am curious about this too.
Wrist pins are PISTON specific clearance wise am I right? And the wrist pins are steel correct? And pistons and rods are cast aluminum, so, that being said, wouldn't you think the small end of the rod would get distorted and or change shape a lot sooner than the wrist pin would? Therefore the wristpins would be fine to re use, but maybe not the rods?

The pin sits in a bushing/bearing.
