Re: bisimoto street or Toda header? (BlueTeg01)
if your super serious i would have a header built to your specs: cc's, mods and future plans. also merge style collectors do nothing more than a header such as toda's if it is hooked up to a complete street exhaust system. they are designed to dump from the collector. so if your not super serious i would just not waste time and money and just go to jhp to buy a toda

i have no experience with the bisimoto header, but i can assure you the toda header SMOKES the dc jdm 4-1. on a back to back dyno, i remember picking up 12-15hp and tq in the midrange with the toda header. maybe 2 or 3hp up top. the motor was already a solid 180-185whp motor. the toda RIPS, and it also has awesome ground clearance.

If you plan to stay under 1.8L go w/ Toda, I've had one and its the best "shelf" header for 1.8L. Great ground clearance, smooth install, very lightweight, AWESOME power gains.

bisi header. provides a great torque curve over factory(obviously) and will keep climbing the higher you take it. i've seen a few dyno sheets. i haven't seen much about the toda although so i don't know how to compare the two.

yup. gained me some 5-6hp over the dc jdm and it's got good ground clearance.

Re: (Nov!ce)
from what i have read previously here on ht is that the bisi header is for more serious applications and not recommended for street use. it has ultra low clearance from what i have heard, but you should really talk to the people at exospeed and they would be able to help you. they are the only ones i know that seel the headers. good luck man
