B20v what cam I can use
Hello everyone hope yal doing good . I build a b20v with super tech spring and retailer . It’s a b16 head and block is a b20 mill to 84:5 with nippon piston and rods kit wanted to know what cams can I use . Rite now I have b16 cams and been running good just wanted to see what cams I can get to make it push alittle more power . When I bought the head brand new I didn’t ask if it had stock valve or not so not sure just don’t wnst to take off head to see so just want to know what’s the best cams I can use?

Mechanically, pretty much anything you want with those pistons.
What are you planning for the car? Drag? Circuit? Hot Rod street? Daily driver?
What's your ecu setup? What's your intake and exhaust setup?
Something along the lines of an SK2 Pro1 would likely be a good place to start looking.

Intake is a victor x and muffle its 3 inch front to back with South Bay injector 740 cause I’m spraying 75 shot at the moment dry and fuel it’s 93 for now and rite now I dyno at 325 but I Wanted know if dojnf cams will help out alittle or will it waste my money for a few more single numbers and car will be a street car and track car drag not a daily

You will gain some power with Pro 1 cams and matching Valve train.
FYI you don't need to remove the head to install springs and retainers, you can buy a cheap tool that makes it super easy to change.

I have super tech spring and retailer . I just want to get some cams that I don’t have to do a lot of changing around . And if I change the cams do I need to retune it ? And what the best cams for the money ? Cause my b16 cam took them out yesterday and they look wear out so looking for some cams to be on the safe side .

I got a friend with brand new skunk 2 tuner 2 cams he giving them to me for a good price what yal think ? Will it work good for me cause I’m spray 75 shot of dry nos at the moment and I’m pushing 326 or 336 at the dyno if I remember rite . I don’t want to push the block to much cause it’s not sleeves and I did open the block to 84:5

Tuner 2s are good cams, might be about as much as you'll want to run at that compression.
They have pretty 'stock' low cam profiles, so you won't get the broad power band and smooth crossover that you'd get with the Pro 1+, but the peak gains between the two profiles should be fairly similar.
You'll need to tune for every cam change. The Tuners will be easier to get idling and will get better MPG. They will also run fine on the low cam and a stock ecu, if emissions testing is something you have to worry about.

Agreed! I'm using Tuner 2 cams and they work well with my boosted setup. I changed my Pro1 cams for the tuner 2's, the pro 1 cams were aggressive on my pads, the tuner 2's are a lot less aggressive, idle good and will give some good mid and top range but like spAdam mentioned you need to have them tunned and dialed in for max power, They have quick settings somewhere you can look up for these cams but best is to have the tuner adjust the cam gears when hes tuning the engine. And even better if you get them degreed with a wheel.

Re: B20v what cam I can use
I'm running BC0013 cams in my B16 head on my B20 block @ 13:1 compression and it's got plenty of piston to valve clearance even with the intake cam at 0 deg (exhaust has to be retard for valve to valve clearance). Both my head and block have been decked too. You should be able to run anything you want, mechanically, as said previous.
*The only caveat is you may need to check valve to valve clearance if you go real big; which would involve pulling the head.
My piston to valve clearance for example:

Thanxk for all the help people really appreciate it going with the tuner 2 cause im spray so will help with power range, what is the max power thats my block can hold ? With it being 84:5 witg ycp kit ? Rite now im at 326 or 336 cause i want to go from 75 or 100 shot but mite risk the block cause i think ill be at like maybe 350 to 400

Re: B20v what cam I can use
It’s all about cylinder pressure. High compression, safe timing, smart tuning, it will live. Boosted with low comp and a ton of ig timing, it will not. Knock under boost or nitrous and it’s over.stock sleeve B20s are 8krpm blocks, kiss them goodbye at 9krpm.
<325 whp on a 75 shot for a lightly built setup is dubious. 400hp on a 100 shot is not very likely at all. Not for streetable build that is going to accrue any mileage, at least.
