B20 Concerns
Alright i just dropped a poop load of money into my b20. Its fully built with pretty much the best parts I could get. I didnt reall skimp out on anything except maybe the bearings. I was using an LS crank with OEM LS brearings and eagle rods. Well after about 5k my motor lost a rod bearing and I now have a retarded load rod knock. Time for a rebuild again. Now I am going to get my rods notched and run GSR bearings and another LS crank. So my questions is will this work? Is it really going to be that reliable? When I built the motor I wanted to make it bulletproof and now I feel like its just gonna cause me more problems. What do you all think?

OEM bearing is the best you can buy. You should look into why you spun the bearing in the first place. Oil delivery failure, too tight of a clearance,.....BTW, I had a b20/vtec and it ran fine for the last 2 years, and still running after I sold it.

Re: B20 Concerns (Forrest Gump 9)
I know it wasnt oil delivery because I never lost oil pressure. Im gonna platigage this time to make sure the clearances are perfect.
