estimated 12:1 ls/vtec made 196/140 on a dynapack on stock head...going bock in with a head that should be up around 280-290 cfm this winter.

"Numbers" as far as what? Hp? Tq? Why? People can post they're SOHC motors/B16/B18/B20/K yadda yadda. I think a better question would be how much timing were you able to run once tuned?? Ahh F it....who cares about timing - I WANNA SEE SOME DYNO'S!!!

I do, 12.2:cr on what is 98 pump over here in Europe (about equal to your 94). This in my ITR, made the numbers in my sig. If I remember correctly, my timing ended up at 32 or so at WOT. Did experience some knocking tendencies (my Power FC has a knock warning function) on a warm summers day at low rpm's and high load in 4th and 5th gear, but that's all really.

CC'd to 12.15:1
214hp/151tq with ITR cams - 19.5* WOT at peak torque
229hp/158tq with Pro3's - 33* WOT at peak torque
All done on 92 pump
FIgure out what your powerband needs to be, figure out what cam can match those needs, then you can decide on what your static CR should be.

I'd say maybe a year or so, he bought it upon its fresh build. Tuning is the key.

My last car was 12.5:1 in my hatch daily driven just ctr pistons and cams gsr block and head. Motor ran fine for over 2 years while i had it and is still running last time i heard so going on 3 years with around 35k miles on it
Current motor has around 13.1:1 93 octane forged internals with Rm24x cams. Guess i will give dyno jet numbers since thats what most go by anyways. 234whp/140tq. Daily driven motor has just under 6k miles on it. And yes it could make alot more power with more timing and higher octane obviously. But as lexan2.2sedan said tunning is the key. Not that you can make real big numbers on the high compression but you can run it daily on conservative timing.
