95mm crank gsr block - common to notch?
is it common to have to notch a ge sleeved gsr block when running a crower 95mm crank? manley ultralight rods in ls length, custom wiseco pistons. everything looks fine and appears to be alot of room around the rod by the bottom of the sleeves. just curious if most have to notch. thanks

Yes. It is also common to notch the 92mm cranks. I had to notch with a 92mm crank as well. I clearanced mine to about .200" iirc..

The size of the rod is going to play a large role in this, not just the stroke. Not all rods are the same width.

True. I am using Eagles and although they would not physically contact when rotating the engine by hand, the rods were just baaarely getting by without contact. It was close enough I felt notching was a good idea.
