Default 550's to big 4 my b20vtec

hey i have a set of new 550 injectors from old turbo build but, never used them, now i have a stock b20vtec b16 head stock b20b and wanted to know if they would work,i know there alitle big but plained on having room 2 grow on,i have a set of rs machine 12 5 1 pistons and skunk2 pro2 cams waiting 4 rebuild

why not if you need more injector over stock 240's, little on the big side but **** it if you got it run it

If you use those go tune your car asap i would just run your stock ones until you put the other stuff on. just my opinion. But i say ya there 2 big i have 440 and thats as big as im going.

I used RC 550cc injectors on my 85x89 build with 11.5:1 cr and S2S2 cams, and they were running at 70 ish duty cycle at 43psi fuel pressure. I say go for it! There is no such thing as too big of an injector with proper tuning capabilities.

im gona take it to t1 to get it tuned, and i had the wrong comp on the pistons its 11-7-1 type r's

you could run 1000cc injectors if you wanted and it would still run fine as long as you dial in fuel pressure and then injector duty cycle and take the time to tune to perfection. running bigger injectors doesnt ever hurt its just the best way to make sure you dont lean out and fry a motor
