Default 2000 B20b Quarter mile times.

I currently have a 95 Integra RS with a 2000 B20b longblock in it. Everything else except suspension is stock. I ran a 16.2 quarter mile time and was wondering what everyone else is getting in their b20 itegras.

Also i wanted to ask how much difference would it make if i raised to compression to 11:1

Thanx

Learn to drive and your times will improve. Also building a B20 you can get some nice power!

Look at Endyne Pistons(11.4:1)

You could buy a stock LS Intake manifold or a Skunk2 LS intake manifold and that would add some power. Are you using the stock B20 IM? I didnt think those would fit under the hood, maybe they will. Some where I read about a guy that had a B20 and put a stock LS IM, Stock GSR cast header and dynoed in at like 150WHP. I thought that was pretty crazy.

Thanx for the replies guys.
One thing i forgot to mention is that the clutch on this car has over 100.000 miles on it and on the day that i ran the 16.2 i did it only once. Every run after that my clutch felt even worse and i kept running slower times. So maybe thats my problem but i want to swap the tranny for a LSD either type R or b16 with LSD.

THANX AGAIN

Three 15.0's @ 92mph in a row. In a 90' DA, motor is some what stock, it just doesnt like to launch hard at all, i had to launch under 2500 to avoid wheel spin. At the time i was sporting a chikara header (restrictive header) with some crush bent piping, so i swapped it out for a DC jdm 4-1 header with SS kteller 2.5 piping so it should let my top end open up better, plus some drag radials so i should pull harder.

For the guy who ran a 16.2, thats weaksauce. Something is very wrong there, replace that clutch and get a short gear tranny that should put you into the low 15's if not high 14's.

when i had my '96 jdm b20b in my '90 rs integra i ran a best of 16.48. It was a very hot day, my launches were pathetic (first time to the track), and i had the stock pee-shooter exhaust on there.

I didn't see your mods listed, but a 4-1 header with a good 2.5" exhaust really seem to get good numbers with engine. You should be capable of mid 15's i think.

Thats weird. My 95 LS went 16.28 with Intake and Exhaust. It had the 1.8 LS in it with the stock LS motor. I wonder why in your DA you went slower than my DC and you had the B20.

haha, one guy at the track that day ran a 16.2 with his stock '92 GS, so driver is everything.

I mentioned that it was my first time to the track ever, i recall on my first run i went through 3rd gear and i hadn't even left the line yet. My mph were only 83mph at best, just to show how choked off that engine was.

The '90/'91 exhaust diameter is also smaller than the '92+. The header was also pathetic.
