Wich b20? Lower compression b20b1? higher compression 1999-2000 b20z or jdm B20b?
What are your plans for the car? Power goals? What do you intend to use the car for? What transmission do you want to run? Do you want to stay nonvtec? What else is done to the car? Whats your budget?
Need more info

Re: (mfpicon)
LOL, thats fucked up... i have a b20 and from waht ive researched is taht it is essentially the same a b18b but more power pretty much... A lot of people say the sleeves are weak but i think a better way to put it is there not weak but just not up to par with normal b series sleeves that can handle boost reliably... If your like me and just want a basic I/H/E setup then the b20 is good unless you spend some big bucks on internals or get a really good tune...
Pretty much, yes, if anything its a better motor than the b18 if your not gonna go crazy with it... dont let them ask for more than 800 dollars for the motor though... you gotta watch some shops, they scam. Especially if they think your just some dumb girl (no offense) that doesnt know anything that they can take advantage of...

so you threw a rod in your bf's car? i'd tell him and offer to help him out with it, but that's just me. i seriously wouldn't pay more than $600 for a b20b in good condition. thet motors were in honda crvs from 96-98, so they can be in any kind of condition. make them do a compression test on it before you buy, and let us know what the results are. they will be scared to **** you over on anything if you mention a compression test.
if you're trying to hide it from him, a b20 will have more power, and it will be noticeable. a b18 is 1.8 liters, and a b20 is 2.0. good luck!
