Doug from Hondata has announced that they will be bringing the flashing equipment over to Church's Automotive for the flash.
"We can do the flashes on the spot. We could probably do 10 cars in 3-4 hours max."

For those who want to expedite (Do their reflash before the set date) their reflash and is shipping their stuff:
^If you wait until the GB day, you can get the discount that we get. But if you want it now, you can get it for $535.


Please only add yourself if youre 90-100% sure that you're in. I don't really want to see "if this, if that, depends on price etc." I would like to keep the count as accurate as possible.

Here's what I got so far.. Our reseller looks to be Church's Automotive (Link) in LA since he's offered the most competitive discount. More than likely, we will be driving down for a one day service. We can also exercise the option of carpooling down.
Ex> 2-3 People drive, those not driving will carry their ecu/immobolizer/key at hand and fade in $$$ for those driving.


Shawn @ Church's Automotive is also willing to honor the group buy discount for those out-of-state that want to send in their ecu's - though shipping cost will be independent to the buyer, and on a "case-by-case" basis.

Q: I am responsible for shipping my ECU, immobilizer, and key to Church's, and pay for the shipping there. Will I have to pay shipping for the return?
A: "Yes, customer must ship the ECU and associated hardware to me. I recommend reading Hondata's instructions on their website twice. Be sure to include a fully completed and signed (second page) reflash form from http://www.hondata.com/kseriesecuinfoform.html , We will be charging a flat $25 for same day return shipping in the continental US (this is new). Some people have specified 2nd day to save money if they don't need it right away. You must let me know if you want something besides next day Fedex. " -Shawn

Q: Also, how do we pay Church's? Paypal? Or an online form?
A: "Payment can be made to be to my paypal account (spchurch@earthlink.net), or people can call with their credit card information and we will process them over the phone." -Shawn

Q: Should I get some kind of insurance or when I ship it out?
A: "We will be insuring ECUs for $1000 on the return. I highly advise people do this shipping it out as well. You don't want to have to pay for anything if it has a problem (rare, but why risk it for a couple $$ in insurance). I recommend using Fedex, UPS or DHL over USPS, etc. We will be using Fedex for return shipping unless otherwise requested." -Shawn

You will have to remove the ecu/immobolizer per these instructions

Mail the ecu/immobolizer/ONE KEY to Shawn @ Churchs (However you may please, but probably practical to do overnight shipping, that way you have less downtime) -- since the ecu/immol is out the car, your car will be inoperable for the duration until you get the ecu back. The turn around time is ~24-48 hours from the time Hondata recieves your stuff, and they ship it back to you overnight shipping.

To get the GB discount, you have to ship it to shawn (who will bring it to Hondata)

You're looking at about a 3-4 days downtime if you're shipping overnight
