Buying a TSX

Buying a TSX
tomorrow or the next day my husband and i will be going to look at a brand new 05 TSX coming in we most likely will be buying it. it's carbon grey perl w/ the grey interior and an auto. we were trying to decide whether the 6k more for a TL is worth the money besides being larger. we have a 2 month old and the seat fits fine in the back of the TSX an is comfy enough for me back there also with her seat in the middle. The things i need the car to have is the correct colors, sunroof, XM, leather, and all around nice car with good performance and good gas milage.
Is there anything that a TL can offer us besides being larger an having that more bling factor and having the larger engine which isn't too big of a deal to me since i am not racing w/ a baby in the car.
TIA

Re: Buying a TSX (civic_gurl)
I chose the TSX over the TL because I like smaller cars. I came out of an Integra R.
TSX has most, but not all of the features of the TL.
If I was to do it again, I'd still get the TSX. However, know that the TSX is an extremely slow car. Go test drive it before U sign papers.
Good luck.

Re: Buying a TSX (Incognito)
That's basically the only difference. The bodies are very very similar, just slower. They offer the same accessories as eachother, also the XM, navi etc.
I think really the only difference besides the engine is the TL offers a rear lip spoiler and wing, whereas the TSX only has the wing spoiler.
The TL has a few more recalls though, and more rattles that needs it fixes. If you're looking for a family car, the TSX, if you have the money secure to spend the extra 6k, go with the TL. IMO.

You will be very happy with your choice. I have a 17 month old and she fits perfectly in the back and two avg. sized adults will fit w/her car seat in place.
Alot of people out there say it is slow, but it hadles so well, it is actually pretty fast on any curvy road.
Only bad thing about the TSX is the OEM tires and a wide turning radius...otherwise perfect. I absolutely love my TSX, more so than any other Acura/Honda I've owned (9 so far )
