'04 TSX Navigation not working, need some opinions!
I know, TSX navigation not working, what a surprise right?
Anywho, I just picked this TSX from a dealer. Ever since I purchased the car, the radio or the navigation hasn't worked. I read up on the security code for the radio so I tried that. Unplugged the battery, waited 15 minutes, typed in the code and bam! Stereo works perfectly fine.
But the navi still isn't working, and for those of you who have navi..know I kind of need it for a few things (air controls, etc)
The disc in the back of the car has a few scratches but nothing out of the ordinary, and even the screen itself lights up very faintly, but nothing shows on the screen.
From my knowledge that I gained from the dealership, the previous owner had issues with the system not working so they took it into the dealer to have it fixed, paid a lot of cash for a new "computer" or "GPS unit" as they said. They said it fixed the issue for about 3 months, then the screen went dark again so they gave up and traded it in, and that's where I came in.
Any ideas as to what it could be? Any help or ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

Could you elaborate on "not working"? What exactly works and does not work with it?
What Symptoms, what do you see on the device, etc.

New issue: After the crazy weather we've been having, it was -6 degrees out and the navi powered on. Once the engine was shut off, it hasn't powered back on until I was about 15 minutes or so into my drive, and I hit a bump and it popped back on. Now I'm fairly certain it's a loose wire or something behind the unit. I've read about this, and apparently it's a common problem. I'll check the wires and post any updates I have.
