Looking for the highest power combo J-Series setup
Hi all, I want to keep this short and to the point. I'm looking to buy a 04-08 TL with the J32A3 with a manual but may end up with an auto due to the rarity of the manual. I want to know how easily a 3.7 motor can be swapped in and what combo of stock Honda J series parts will make the most power. As in which combo of Pistons, rod, crank, heads, cam and intake manifold.. Etc
Also how easily can an auto car be converted to 6 speed? I did a bunch of searching via Google but couldn't find much. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Good luck finding parts to do an auto to manual swap. The parts alone can run around 4000 dollars. Better just to buy a manual to begin with.
The j37 won't fit. But some of the parts will. The intake manifold will fit. Several people running j37 Frankenstein engines.
Check out acurazine.com some wild builds.
One of my friends is running a J37 frank with turbo and supercharger. I believe he just did his first portion of tuning and is putting down just under 500 whp with it.
