Default Racing fuels

i have an ep3 with intake, full exhaust and polish-port job.
my question is... will 104 octane make a big difference or should i just run 98

if you have any info please dont be shy..
i believe it will but several friends of mine say its useless

also anyone have any recommendations on sparkplugs?

Default Re: Racing fuels (SoCal EP3)

If that's all you have then it's going to be useless.. just run 91+. At one point and time i thought it would help your car out but your compression is low and your motor was tuned on 88 octane. 91+ helps you out a bit better then 88 but you're not going to have phenominal gains or anything spectacular running 100+.
